Chief Minister YS Jagan has directed the officials to immediately fill the vacant posts of Anganwadi workers and assistants in the Women and Child Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh. To this extent, he conducted a review with the officials of Women Development and Child Welfare Department on Thursday (April 20).
CM Jagan questioned the officials about the progress of day-to-day work in Anganwadis. Officials said that work is being done in more than 10,000 Anganwadis, which have become part of foundation schools. The CM suggested that the works should be completed on time in order of priority in the remaining 45 thousand Anganwadis.
Growth monitoring equipment to monitor the growth of children should be set up immediately. He said that an effective SOP should be formulated regarding the distribution process under Sampurna Poshan.
He ordered that there should be no compromise in the distribution of complete nutrition on the same lines as pensions. Anganwadi centers should be inspected from time
to time and steps should be taken to improve the conditions there. Also, CM Jagan ordered that the supervision of the supervisors in every Anganwadi should be armed.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాష్ట్రంలోని మహిళా శిశు సంక్షేమశాఖలో ఖాళీగా ఉన్న అంగన్‌వాడీ వర్కర్లు, సహాయకుల పోస్టులను వెంటనే భర్తీ చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ జగన్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఈ మేరకు మహిళాభివృద్ధి, శిశు సంక్షేమశాఖ అధికారులతో గురువారం (ఏప్రిల్‌ 20) ఆయన సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు.
అంగన్‌వాడీలలో నాడు-నేడు పనుల ప్రగతిపై సీఎం జగన్ అధికారులను ప్రశ్నించారు. ఫౌండేషన్‌ స్కూళ్లలో భాగంగా మారిన సుమారు 10వేలకుపైగా అంగన్‌వాడీల్లో పనులు జరుగుతున్నాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. మిగిలిన సుమారు 45వేల అంగన్‌వాడీలలోనూ ప్రాధాన్యత క్రమంలో పనులు సకాలంలో పూర్తి చేయాలని సీఎం సూచించారు.
పిల్లల ఎదుగుదలను పర్యవేక్షించే గ్రోత్‌ మానిటరింగ్‌ ఎక్విప్‌మెంట్‌ను వెంటనే ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్నారు. సంపూర్ణ పోషణ కింద పంపిణీ ప్రక్రియకు సంబంధించి సమర్థవంతమైన ఎస్‌ఓపీ రూపొందించాలని అన్నారు. పింఛన్లు తరహాలోనే సంపూర్ణ పోషణ పంపిణీలో ఎటువంటి రాజీ పడకూడదని ఆదేశించారు. ఎప్పటికప్పుడు అంగన్‌వాడీ సెంటర్లను పరిశీలిస్తూ, అక్కడి పరిస్థితులను మెరుగుపరిచేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలన్నారు. అలాగే ప్రతి అంగన్‌వాడీల్లో సూపర్‌ వైజర్లపైన పర్యవేక్షణ పకడ్బందీగా ఉండాలని సీఎం జగన్ ఆదేశించారు.
