It is known that the All India Students Association (ABVP) has been carrying out several protest programs against the collection of fees by private educational institutions. A school strike is being called to protest the fee hike.
Already in Andhra Pradesh on 5th July ABVP has closed educational institutions across the state. Meanwhile, the Left Students' Union (AISF) has decided to hold a protest against the illegal fee extortion going on in the education sector in Telangana.
As part of this, educational institutions have been called for a shutdown on July 12. Recently AISF leaders met at the office in Hyderabad. On this occasion, they discussed various topics.
The leaders criticized the Telangana government for not caring about the welfare of the education sector. He accused the government of not making proper allocations in the budget for the education sector and looking down on the students.
Against this backdrop, the government has called for a shutdown of all educational institutions across the state on 12th July (Wednesday) with the demand to solve the problems in the education sector immediately and reduce the school fees.

ఇప్పటికే ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో జూలై 5న ఏబీవీపీ రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా విద్యాసంస్థలను మూసివేసింది. మరోవైపు తెలంగాణలో విద్యాశాఖలో జరుగుతున్న అక్రమ ఫీజు దోపిడీకి వ్యతిరేకంగా వామపక్ష విద్యార్థి సంఘం (ఏఐఎస్‌ఎఫ్) నిరసన చేపట్టాలని నిర్ణయించింది.
ఇందులో భాగంగా జులై 12న విద్యాసంస్థల బంద్‌కు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.ఇటీవల ఏఐఎస్‌ఎఫ్ నేతలు హైదరాబాద్‌లోని కార్యాలయంలో సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా వారు పలు అంశాలపై చర్చించారు.
తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం విద్యారంగ సంక్షేమాన్ని పట్టించుకోవడం లేదని నేతలు విమర్శించారు. విద్యా రంగానికి బడ్జెట్‌లో సరైన కేటాయింపులు చేయడం లేదని, విద్యార్థుల పట్ల ప్రభుత్వం చిన్నచూపు చూస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో విద్యారంగంలో నెలకొన్న సమస్యలను వెంటనే పరిష్కరించాలని, స్కూల్ ఫీజులను తగ్గించాలని డిమాండ్‌ చేస్తూ జులై 12న (బుధవారం) రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని విద్యాసంస్థల బంద్‌కు ప్రభుత్వం పిలుపునిచ్చింది.
