Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), located in Hyderabad, Telangana, has released its admission notification for the academic year 2025–26. The university invites applications from eligible candidates for admissions into various regular mode programs including Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Ph.D., LLB, PG Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate courses. Admissions will be conducted not only at the Hyderabad main campus but also at its satellite campuses in Lucknow, Srinagar, Bhopal, Darbhanga, Asansol, Aurangabad, Sambhal, Nuh, Bidar, Bengaluru, and Cuttack. Applicants must have studied Urdu either as a medium of instruction or as a subject at the SSC, Intermediate, or Graduation level. Those with equivalent Madrasa qualifications in Urdu are also eligible to apply. Except for language-specific courses, all programs are offered exclusively in the Urdu medium. Admissions to most of these programs are entrance test-based, and candidates will be selected based on the ranks they secure in the test. The courses offered through the entrance test include Ph.D. programs in disciplines such as Urdu, Arabic, English, Hindi, Persian, Translation Studies, Women’s Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, Islamic Studies, History, Economics, Sociology, Deccan Studies, and Education. PG programs include MBA, MCA, M.Tech (Computer Science), M.Ed, and LLM.
