Telangana RTC is taking steps towards providing comfortable travel to the people. As part of this, the RTC, which has already been taking various measures, has recently taken another important decision. Electric AC buses are being made available to passengers. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is making arrangements to start some buses next month. These buses will be brought into use to provide a better and comfortable travel experience to the people along with environmental protection and pollution prevention. The company has announced that for the first time, 50 electric AC buses will be made available on the Vijayawada route.
In this order, TSRTC MD VC Sajjan inspected the Proto (Sample) electric AC bus at Bus Bhavan premises in Hyderabad on Monday. The officials were asked about the facilities provided to the passengers in the bus. Many suggestions were made on this occasion. The representatives of Olectra Greentech Limited were advised not to compromise on the facilities by making these buses available to provide better and quality services to the passengers. The authorities have been directed to make some buses available to passengers within the next month. He expressed hope that environment-friendly electric buses will get good acceptance from people.

ఈ క్రమంలోనే సోమవారం హైదరాబాద్‌ లోని బస్ భవన్ ప్రాంగణంలో ప్రోటో (నమూనా) ఎలక్ట్రిక్‌ ఏసీ బస్సును టీఎస్ఆర్టీసీ ఎండీ వీసీ సజ్జనర్‌ పరిశీలించారు. బస్సులో ప్రయాణికులకు కల్పిస్తోన్న సౌకర్యాలను అధికారులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పలు సూచనలు చేశారు. ప్రయాణికులకు మెరుగైన, నాణ్యమైన సేవలను అందించేందుకు ఈ బస్సులను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువస్తున్నామని, సౌకర్యాల విషయంలో రాజీ పడొద్దని ఒలెక్ట్రా గ్రీన్‌టెక్‌ లిమిటెడ్ ప్రతినిధులకు సూచించారు. వచ్చే నెలలోనే కొన్ని బస్సులను ప్రయాణికులకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. పర్యావరణహిత ఎలక్ట్రిక్‌ బస్సులకు ప్రజల నుంచి మంచి ఆదరణ లభిస్తుందని ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
