It will flood. If there is a flood, the village will become empty. We are left with tears. That is why we are shivering when it rains.

 The villagers are begging Babu to strengthen the walls of our village. The people of Palem village of Konaseema district took the path of agitation to avoid these tears.

 Villagers say that no matter how many times they have agreed to increase the height of the embankment so that it does not overflow, the rulers are not relenting.

 The people of the village took this path of agitation as their grievances turned into anger. There is a clamor to strengthen the old ridges. Villagers of Pallepalem and Janasena leaders took up agitation.

Villagers say that CM Jagan promised to strengthen the embankment in 15 days when Godavari was flooded, but it was not implemented.

 They are expressing their grief that they have spent a week without sleep due to the raging floods that came in August last year.

The villagers say that the authorities have not been able to take any measures to strengthen Etigattu except for the hastily placed sandbags.

 Even now, the people want the authorities to respond and increase the height of Etigattu immediately.
