On Monday (August 21), 2,620 liquor shops spread across the state concluded their lottery draw successfully. Excise Department Minister Vee Shrinivas Goud informed that licenses were allocated to liquor shops throughout the Telangana state without any bias, ensuring complete transparency, avoiding any syndicates. The lottery for liquor shop licenses was conducted through a lottery system at the Integrated District Officials' Office building in Mahbubnagar district center.
 
Minister Shrinivas Goud emphasized that the lottery was conducted using LED screens to ensure transparency, assuring that there were no manipulations. For the administration of liquor shops, a total of 1,31,970 applications were received, and 2,598 liquor shops were selected through the lottery method on Monday.

 However, only a few applications have been received for the remaining 22 liquor shops, and these will be allocated directly. The minister assured immediate responses to those who acquired shops through the lottery. The holders of liquor shop licenses are permitted to continue with their licenses for two years. In this context, Minister Shrinivas Goud shared his thoughts.

When the state was in turmoil, those who came from other states set up illicit liquor shops as syndicates. They were the ones who shed the tears that the government should have shed. It's not just the mafia's excise tax that comes. After the imposition of a separate state, the excise and police became efficient in cracking down on counterfeit liquor.

 They wanted to provide clean water to the people of the state without any pollution and released water from the Polavaram into the sea for that purpose. Accordingly, Minister Vee Srinivas Goud informed that we are constructing four lakh pits across the state, planting saplings and saving the water, knowing it.

సోమవారం (ఆగస్టు 21) రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా విస్తరించి ఉన్న 2,620 మద్యం దుకాణాలు తమ లాటరీ డ్రాను విజయవంతంగా ముగించాయి. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మద్యం దుకాణాలకు ఎలాంటి పక్షపాతం లేకుండా, పూర్తి పారదర్శకంగా, సిండికేట్‌లకు తావు లేకుండా లైసెన్స్‌లు మంజూరు చేశామని ఎక్సైజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి వీ శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ తెలిపారు. మహబూబ్‌నగర్ జిల్లా కేంద్రంలోని సమీకృత జిల్లా అధికారుల కార్యాలయ భవనంలో లాటరీ విధానంలో మద్యం దుకాణాల లైసెన్సుల కోసం లాటరీ నిర్వహించారు.
 
ఎలాంటి అవకతవకలు జరగకుండా పారదర్శకంగా ఉండేలా ఎల్‌ఈడీ స్క్రీన్‌లతో లాటరీ నిర్వహించామని మంత్రి శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ ఉద్ఘాటించారు. మద్యం దుకాణాల నిర్వహణకు సంబంధించి మొత్తం 1,31,970 దరఖాస్తులు రాగా, సోమవారం లాటరీ పద్ధతిలో 2,598 మద్యం దుకాణాలను ఎంపిక చేశారు.

  అయితే మిగిలిన 22 మద్యం దుకాణాలకు కొన్ని దరఖాస్తులు మాత్రమే వచ్చాయని, వీటిని నేరుగా కేటాయిస్తామన్నారు. లాటరీ ద్వారా దుకాణాలు పొందిన వారికి తక్షణమే స్పందిస్తామని మంత్రి హామీ ఇచ్చారు. మద్యం షాపుల లైసెన్సులు ఉన్నవారు రెండేళ్లపాటు తమ లైసెన్సులను కొనసాగించేందుకు అనుమతి ఉంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ తన అభిప్రాయాన్ని పంచుకున్నారు.

రాష్ట్రం అల్లకల్లోలంగా ఉన్న సమయంలో ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి వచ్చిన వారు సిండికేట్‌గా కల్తీ మద్యం దుకాణాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ప్రభుత్వం కంటతడి పెట్టించాల్సిన వారే కన్నీళ్లు పెట్టుకున్నారు. మాఫియా ఎక్సైజ్‌ పన్ను మాత్రమే కాదు. ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పాటైన తర్వాత ఎక్సైజ్, పోలీసులు కల్తీ మద్యంపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపారు.

  రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలకు కాలుష్యం లేకుండా స్వచ్ఛమైన నీటిని అందించాలని, అందుకోసం పోలవరం నుంచి సముద్రంలోకి నీటిని విడుదల చేయాలని కోరారు. అందుకనుగుణంగా రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా నాలుగు లక్షల ఇంకుడు గుంతలు నిర్మిస్తున్నామని, మొక్కలు నాటి నీటిని పొదుపు చేస్తున్నామని మంత్రి వీ శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ తెలియజేశారు.
