Mixed Weather in Telugu States: Heat During the Day, Rain in the Evening
The weather in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has become quite unusual. While the afternoons are extremely hot, evenings bring sudden showers and thunderstorms. This mixed weather has been continuing for the past few days.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an important update. A low-pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal, which is affecting the weather conditions in both states.
Telangana Weather Update:
In Telangana, daytime temperatures are rising, with Nizamabad recording a high of 41.5°C. In the evening, districts like Mahabubabad, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Janagam, and Mulugu experienced strong winds and heavy rain. Hailstorms were reported in Khammam, damaging mango orchards.
The IMD forecasts rain in some districts over the next 48 hours due to the ongoing low-pressure system.
Andhra Pradesh Forecast:
In Andhra Pradesh, the low-pressure system in the south-central Bay of Bengal is likely to cause rainfall over the next 3 days. Temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 3°C for the next four days before slightly cooling down. People may continue to experience mixed weather—heat in some places and rain in others.
Officials have advised the public to stay alert and take precautions according to changing weather patterns.
