Singapore Government Honors Rescuers of Pawan Kalyan’s Son

Mark Shankar Pawanovich, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, was recently injured in a fire accident at a school in Singapore. He is currently recovering well.

In response to the incident, the Government of Singapore has taken a commendable step by honoring the individuals who played a key role in saving Mark Shankar and others during the fire.

As per official reports, sixteen children and six adults were trapped inside the school building when the fire broke out on April 8. Among those who rushed to help were members of the Indian expatriate community in Singapore, including four Indian workers who acted without hesitation to rescue those inside.

These workers climbed to the third floor amid heavy smoke and panic, risking their own lives to bring the trapped children to safety. The Singapore Government formally felicitated all those involved in the heroic rescue, recognizing their bravery and selflessness.

Mark Shankar, who sustained injuries in the fire, has since returned home and is on the path to full recovery. His uncle, actor Chiranjeevi, expressed heartfelt gratitude on social media to everyone who prayed for the young boy’s well-being. Fans of Pawan Kalyan also shared their relief and happiness at Mark Shankar’s safe return.
