Amid widespread rumors on social media about changes in Tatkal train ticket booking timings from April 15, the Central Government has officially clarified that these claims are false.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check team confirmed via social media that no changes have been made to the Tatkal or Premium Tatkal booking timings for AC or non-AC classes.

A viral image suggesting revised Tatkal booking timings has been circulating online. However, the government has categorically stated that the image is fake and misleading.

Additionally, the government clarified that there is no change in the timings for booking tickets through authorized agents either. The existing rules remain in effect, and citizens are advised to refer only to official sources for accurate information.
