Dry Day in Hyderabad on April 12 for Hanuman Jayanti

People in Hyderabad who plan to buy liquor on Saturday may be disappointed. The city police have announced that all liquor shops, bars, and toddy outlets will be closed on April 12, Saturday, in view of Hanuman Jayanti.

According to police orders, the dry day will be in effect from 6:00 AM on April 12 to 6:00 AM on April 13. This decision is part of precautionary measures taken during the religious celebrations to ensure public safety and maintain peace.

The order applies to all wine shops, bars, and toddy compounds in Hyderabad. Officials also reminded the public that a similar closure was in place during the recent Sri Rama Navami festival.

Residents are advised to plan accordingly and cooperate with the authorities.
