KCR Has Done Well BRS MLA Backs Revanth

BRS Party is currently facing a challenging period, having lost power in the recent general elections in Telangana and experiencing significant setbacks in parliamentary contests. Adding to their woes, Rajendar Nagar MLA Prakash Gowd has now defected from BRS to join the Congress.
Prakash Gowd, who was in Tirupati earlier today for darshan at Lord Balaji's temple, confirmed his departure from BRS in a media interaction following the visit. He acknowledged Chief Minister KCR's achievements but expressed his decision to support Revanth Reddy, the current young and dynamic Chief Minister.
Prakash Gowd emphasized the importance of government support in developing his constituency, which influenced his choice to switch parties. He is set to meet with Revanth Reddy later today at 7 PM to formalize his support.
Amidst these developments, there are speculations about more MLAs from Hyderabad city contemplating party switches. Nevertheless, BRS intends to contest these defections on legal grounds, signaling a potential legal battle ahead.
