Youth Arrested for Offensive Social Media Posts on Pawan Kalyan’s Son Mark Shankar

A youth identified as Raghu, also known as Pushparaj, from Kurnool district, has been arrested for making inappropriate and offensive comments about Mark Shankar, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, on social media.

Guntur Superintendent of Police, Satish Kumar, revealed that the accused was involved in an online dispute among film actor fan groups, which led him to post objectionable content on the platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). The case was registered following a complaint by a resident of Prattipadu, Sambasiva Rao.

During the investigation, police found that Raghu operated multiple fake accounts using 14 email IDs and five mobile phones. A significant portion of the content was derogatory, especially towards women. Legal action has been initiated under various sections related to the dignity of women and promoting enmity between groups.
