Rains in Coastal and Rayalaseema Regions
On April 16 (Wednesday), parts of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema witnessed rain with thunder and gusty winds. Notably, Chidikada in Anakapalli district recorded 425 mm rainfall, while Pulthota in Tirupati district received 41 mm. The Disaster Management Department has advised people to stay alert due to changing weather conditions.

Light to moderate rains with thunder are expected today and tomorrow in districts like Chittoor, Tirupati, and North Coastal Andhra.

Due to upper air troughs extending from East Madhya Pradesh to parts of South Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, areas in Rayalaseema and Karnataka are also likely to get showers.

In Telangana, districts including Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, and Nagarkurnool may receive rainfall with gusty winds.
