ఇంత విలువైన ఆభరణాలను ఇంట్లో ఎందుకు ఉంచారని నరసింహారావు కుటుంబీకులను ప్రశ్నించగా.. బ్యాంకు లాకర్ కేటాయించడంలో జాప్యం జరుగుతోందని, అందుకే ఇంట్లోనే ఉంచామని చెప్పారు. ఈ విషయం తెలిసిన వారే చోరీకి పాల్పడి ఉంటారని పోలీసులు భావిస్తున్నారు. సాంకేతిక ఆధారాలతో కేసును ఛేదించేందుకు పోలీసులు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు.
