Reshma Bhanu, who reached the city of Anantapuram, experienced severe pains. Concerned family members rushed her to the Snehalatha Hospital in Hutatma Nagar. When there were thorns on the body of Bidda, the family members, concerned about her condition, took Dr. Arun's advice and had her undergo surgery. However, due to her bookayinchadam (a ritual performed to ward off evil spirits), some relatives opposed the decision and protested in front of the Snehalatha Hospital.

 The family members filed a petition stating that Bidda passed away due to the negligence of Dr. Arun, who performed the surgery carelessly. They also staged a protest in front of the hospital with the lifeless body of the baby who died during a cesarean operation because of a knife wound.
