In the recent visit to villages in the Kurnool district, Vararamachandrapuram Mandal, Chief Minister Jagan interacted with the people who were affected by the earlier floods. He provided guidance to the affected individuals. District collectors have been instructed to ensure that everyone is provided with relief measures in the evening.
The Chief Minister also announced that he would personally take action against officials if there are clear orders from collectors, who, after visiting these villages again next week, informed him of any pending suggestions or complaints. He listened to the grievances of the affected residents and assured them that steps will be taken to address their issues.
Regarding the Polavaram project, Chief Minister Jagan expressed hope that approval for the resettlement package for the villages affected before the dam's construction, which has been pending for months, could be obtained from the center.
During the first phase, villages that will be submerged by the 41.15-meter water level increase have been assured of the package for the families. Chief Minister Jagan mentioned that LiDAR surveys have already been conducted for the villages to be submerged and affected by the dam's first phase. He stated that this process will be completed in the upcoming elections.
