The price of tomato will touch the drops across the country. In some areas, farmers are demanding their tomato crop. CC cameras are also being installed. As tomato prices have increased significantly, the central team visited Madanapally Market, the largest tomato market in Asia.

A team of the center came to check the status of tomato crop in Madanapally area of Annamaiya district and inspected the Madanapally tomato market. The central team inquired about the status of the tomato crop which is being widely cultivated by the farmers.

 There are five members in this central team. They asked the farmers about techniques and opportunities in tomato cultivation and marketing. After inquiring about the season-wise yield, the central team held a meeting with the farmers, traders, horticulture and marketing officials.
