Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a crucial decision. The government has issued an order setting up the AP Medical Services Recruitment Board. A new board has been formed for filling up the posts in the medical and health department at the state, zonal and district levels. The government has constituted this board with 17 posts.
The Principal Secretary, Health Department will act as the Chairman of the Board. A special grade deputy collector level officer will be the member secretary. The member will be a JD (Admin) level officer from the Medical and Health Department.
Until now, state, zonal and district level officials are struggling to recruit doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. But henceforth AP Medical Services Board has been formed to give them flexibility. HVD, zonal and district level officials will focus more on hospitals with the formation of the board.
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has already ordered to appoint the vacancies in the medical department whenever they arise. A decision has been taken to form the AP Medical Services Recruitment Board which will work accordingly.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వం కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఏపీ మెడికల్ సర్వీసెస్ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ బోర్డును ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. రాష్ట్ర, జోనల్, జిల్లా స్థాయిల్లో వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖలో పోస్టుల భర్తీకి కొత్తగా బోర్డు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. 17 పోస్టులతో ప్రభుత్వం ఈ బోర్డును ఏర్పాటు చేసింది.
బోర్డుకు ఛైర్మన్‌గా వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రటరీ వ్యవహరించనున్నారు. మెంబర్ సెక్రటరీగా స్పెషల్ గ్రేడ్ డిప్యూటీ కలెక్టర్ స్థాయి అధికారి ఉండనున్నారు. మెంబర్‌గా వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ నుంచి జేడీ(అడ్మిన్) స్థాయి అధికారి ఉండనున్నారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు వైద్యులు, నర్సులు, పారామెడికల్ సిబ్బంది నియామకంలో రాష్ట్ర, జోనల్, జిల్లా స్థాయి అధికారులు తలమునకలవుతున్నారు. అయితే ఇక నుంచి వీరికి వెసులుబాటు కల్పిస్తూ ఎపి మెడికల్ సర్వీసెస్ బోర్డు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. బోర్డు ఏర్పాటుతో ఆసుపత్రులపై మరింత దృష్టిని కేంద్రీకరించనున్న హెచ్వోడీ , జోనల్ , జిల్లా స్థాయి అధికారులు.
వైద్య శాఖలో ఎప్పుడు ఏర్పడిన ఖాళీలను అప్పుడే నియమించేలా ఇప్పటికే ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్‌ మోహన్‌ రెడ్డి ఆదేశాలిచ్చారు. అందుకనుగుణంగా పనిచేయనున్న ఎపి మెడికల్ సర్వీసెస్ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ బోర్డును ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
