Dil Raju Requests to Change OTT Streaming Date

The nonstop entertainer Sankranti Ki Vastunnam, starring Venkatesh in the lead role, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has been creating a massive box office wave since its release this Sankranti. The film, which features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads, was produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. Released on January 14, it has grossed over Rs. 200 crores in just 13 days, becoming the highest-grossing film in Venkatesh's career.

Since its release, audiences have been queuing up in theaters to watch the movie, and it continues to achieve houseful collections. However, a recent update has surprised many – the movie is set to stream on OTT soon. Despite its ongoing success in theaters, there are concerns among the makers about the OTT release while the film is still performing strongly at the box office.

The OTT rights of the film have been acquired by G5. As per the prior agreement, the streaming of Sankranti Ki Vastunnam on G5 is scheduled for the first half of February. However, due to the ongoing theater run and continued audience turnout, the film's director and producers have requested the OTT platform to reconsider and shift the streaming date. Discussions regarding the matter are currently underway.

However, it seems G5 is not willing to change the date, as they have decided to proceed with the original streaming schedule. Producer Dil Raju is making strong efforts to get the OTT streaming date changed, but as of now, G5 is holding firm on their agreement.
