"Praveen Koodu Shappu" to Premiere on SonyLIV

The Malayalam film Praveen Koodu Shappu, featuring renowned actors Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, and Chemban Vinod Jose, is gearing up for its digital release. Directed by Sriraj Srinivasan, this dark comedy crime thriller originally hit theaters on January 16, 2025.

Made on a budget of ₹18 crore, the movie will premiere on SonyLIV on April 11, 2025. To mark the announcement, a special promotional poster has also been released.

 A Suspenseful Storyline Set in a Remote Village

The film’s intriguing plot takes place in a secluded village, where 11 men gather at a local toddy shop. As heavy rains trap them overnight, they spend the evening playing cards. The next morning, the shop owner is found hanging, leading to the police detaining all 11 men as suspects. The narrative unravels the mystery behind the murder and the motives involved.

The film will be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, offering a thrilling experience for a wider audience.
