Swachh Bio to Invest Rs 1000 Crore in Cellulosic Biofuel Plant in Telangana

HYDERABAD:Swachh Bio, a leading manufacturer of lignocellulosic biofuels, has announced plans to invest over Rs 1,000 crore in establishing a 250 KLPD second-generation cellulosic biofuel plant in Telangana. This investment marks the first phase of their project.
The announcement came after a meeting with Telangana’s official delegation, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and including IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, in New York on Tuesday.
In the initial phase, Swachh Bio will create 250 direct jobs at the plant and an additional 250 support roles. The company also aims to position Telangana as a biofuels hub by setting up more plants in the future. The state government has pledged full support for the project.
‘Impressed by Government’s Decentralized Vision’
Swachh Bio Chairperson Praveen Paripati expressed admiration for Telangana’s decentralized development approach under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “We are excited to partner with the state and be part of its transformation journey. We believe this partnership will drive our growth significantly in the coming years,” Paripati said.
Trigyn Technologies to Open AI Innovation Center
Trigyn Technologies, a global provider of digital and intelligence solutions, will establish an AI innovation and delivery center in Hyderabad. The center is expected to accommodate over 1,000 employees within the next three years. Trigyn, which has a global workforce of over 2,500 with 1,000 in India and 100 in Hyderabad, anticipates rapid growth in AI adoption across sectors.
Arcesium to Expand Operations in Hyderabad
The Telangana delegation also finalized a capacity expansion agreement with Arcesium, a leading provider of technology and service solutions for asset managers. Arcesium will hire 500 high-end tech professionals in Hyderabad over the next two years. The company’s expansion in Hyderabad marks its first international location. Arcesium CEO Gaurav Suri highlighted the city’s rich talent pool and strong infrastructure as key factors in their decision.
HCA Healthcare to Expand Global Capability Center
HCA Healthcare, a US-based leader in healthcare services, plans to expand its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad. Following the opening of its incubation facility in March 2024, HCA Healthcare has leased 400,000 square feet for its expanded campus in the city.
