Before the British came to our country, elders used to say that we used to weave sari as big as a matchbox. But a handloom artist from Rajanna Sirisila in Telangana is making that statement true.

Nalla Vijay from Rajanna Sirisilla district, who is skilled in making handloom cloths, is inventing many miracles. He creates rare garments with his talent.

Vijay of Sirisils is an expert in making 100 gram sarees that fit in a matchbox. Eshiras are woven with gold as well as silver. He has already gifted the Sarees of Tirumala Srivaru and Tiruchanur Padmavati. Recently, another shrine in Andhra Pradesh was measured on Indrakiladri, so Vijay presented Durgamma with a matchbox saree with devotion.
 
Vijay offered a sari in a fire to Goddess Indrakiladri. It seems that the cost of this saree will be around 45 thousand rupees. The saree was woven by Vijay with five grams of gold and 10 grams of silver in full silk threads. This beautiful silk saree was presented by Ammalanugamma to Amma Durgamma.

The saree was unveiled in the presence of Durgamma temple staff and priests. The gold and silver woven saree weighing 100 grams impressed the onlookers.

On this occasion, Vijay said that he "loves the art of handloom. He is doing many experiments in the art of handloom. He said that the weavers should not be forgotten. He also said that he will soon make a saree that changes colors.

బ్రిటిష్ వారు మనదేశానికి రాకముందు వరకూ అగ్గిపెట్టెలో పట్టేటంత చీరను నేయడం మన సొంతం అని పెద్దలు చెప్పిన సంగతి వినే ఉంటారు. అయితే ఆ మాటను నిజం చేస్తున్నాడు తెలంగాణలోని రాజన్న సిరిసిల్లకు చెందిన ఓ చేనేత కళాకారుడు. 

చేనేత వస్త్రాల తయారీ నేర్పరి అయిన రాజన్న సిరిసిల్ల జిల్లా కు చెందిన నల్ల విజయ్.. ఎన్నో అద్భుతాలను ఆవిష్కరిస్తున్నారు. అరుదైన వస్త్రాలను తన ప్రతిభతో సృష్టిస్తున్నాడు. 

సిరిసిల్లకు చెందిన విజయ్ అగ్గిపెట్టెలో పట్టేలా 100 గ్రాముల బరువు ఉండే చీరల తయారీలో నిపుణుడు. బంగారంతో పాటూ వెండితో ఈచీరలను నేశారు. ఇప్పటికే తిరుమల శ్రీవారు, తిరుచానూరు పద్మావతి అమ్మవారికి అగ్గిపెట్టేలో పట్టే చీరల్ని బహూకరించాడు. తాజాగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని మరో పుణ్యక్షేత్రం ఇంద్రకీలాద్రిపై కొలువైన కనుక దుర్గమ్మకు  అగ్గిపెట్టెలో పట్టే చీరను భక్తిశ్రద్దలతో బహూకరించాడు విజయ్. 

ఇంద్రకీలాద్రి అమ్మవారికి అగ్గిపెట్టిలో చీరను సమర్పించాడు విజయ్. ఈ చీర ఖరీదు సుమారు 45 వేల రూపాయలు  ఉంటుందని తెలుస్తోంది. చీరను విజయ్ ఐదు గ్రాముల బంగారం, 10 గ్రాముల వెండితో  పూర్తి పట్టు దారాలతో నేశాడు. అతి సుందరమైన ఈ పట్టు చీరను అమ్మలనుగమ్మ అమ్మ దుర్గమ్మకు సమర్పించాడు. 
  
దుర్గమ్మ ఆలయ సిబ్బంది, అర్చకుల సమక్షంలో ఈ చీరను ఆవిష్కరించారు. 100 గ్రామల బరువుతో నేసిన బంగారపు మరియు వెండి కలబోసి చీర చూపరులను ఆకట్టుకుంది. 
ఈ సందర్భంగా విజయ్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. తనకు "చేనేత కళ అంటే ఎంతో ఇష్టం. చేనేత కళలో ఎన్నో ప్రయోగాలు చేస్తుంటానని.. చేనేత కార్మికులు మరుగున పడిపోకూడదని చెప్పారు. త్వరలోనే రంగులు మారే చీరను తయారు చేస్తానని  కూడా చెప్పారు.
