Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Shocking Decision: Cricketer to Move from Mumbai to Goa Team
In a surprising move, Team India’s young cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal has decided to play for the Goa team in the 2025/26 Ranji season. Jaiswal, who has been playing for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy, has already received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). This decision was confirmed by Vipul Fadke, President of the Goa Cricket Association (GCA).
In the past, cricketers like Sidhesh Lad and Arjun Tendulkar also moved from Mumbai to Goa to represent the Goa team. Jaiswal has chosen to leave Mumbai for personal reasons, as confirmed by Fadke.
Fadke added, "Yashasvi Jaiswal has received the NOC from the Mumbai Cricket Association. Due to personal reasons, he has decided to leave Mumbai." He also mentioned that Jaiswal’s decision is a positive development for Goa, as the opportunity to play with such a talented cricketer will help Goa’s players learn and improve their skills.
