YS Jagan Condemns Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Arrest and Alleges Political Conspiracy
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has strongly criticized the arrest of former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi. Jagan condemned the arrest and claimed that the ruling alliance disregarded law and justice. He accused the government of abusing its power and running the state with a “Red Book Constitution.” He further alleged that such illegal arrests violate the Constitution’s core principles. Jagan warned that the ruling coalition would be held accountable for any harm to Vamsi.
Jagan claimed that a Dalit youth testified in court that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) pressured him to falsely implicate Vamsi in the Gannavaram case. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of using "malicious tactics" to cover up the testimony. Jagan also alleged that TDP members threatened the youth’s family after his statement was made public. He argued that this undermines the judicial process and accused the government of sabotaging the investigation.
Jagan also condemned what he described as a false SC/ST case against former Denduluru MLA Kotharu Abbayya Chowdary. He claimed that a TDP MLA verbally abused Chowdary’s driver and filed a false case. Jagan addressed Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of diverting attention from unfulfilled promises by filing false cases and making illegal arrests. He warned that the public is recording these actions and will hold the government accountable.
