Two Students Arrested for Hidden Camera in Womens Hostel Washroom at Andhra College

On Thursday night, students and local residents protested at Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh over allegations of a hidden camera in the women's hostel washroom, reportedly installed by two fourth-year students.
Protesters claimed the issue had been known for a week without action from the principal and alleged that over 300 videos had been recorded and sold.
In response to the outcry, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, HRD Minister N. Lokesh, and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha directed Krishna District SP R. Gangadhar Rao to investigate. Lokesh promised strict action and preventive measures.
Police have investigated but found no hidden cameras. They questioned the two students and searched their electronic devices, uncovering no evidence of wrongdoing. The Gudlavalleru police have filed a case and are continuing their investigation.
