Jagan Suspends MLC Duvvada Srinivas Amidst Controversy

YSR Congress Party President Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken decisive action by suspending MLC Duvvada Srinivas from the party. The YSRCP, in an official statement, cited multiple complaints against Srinivas for breaching party discipline. The suspension follows recommendations made by the party's disciplinary committee.

Duvvada Srinivas has been at the center of several controversies over the past year, including his alleged association with Divvela Madhuri, controversial remarks targeting actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, and more recently, for reportedly threatening an assistant engineer from the electricity department over a phone call.

In a related development, the party has made new district-level appointments. Former minister Gudivada Amarnath has been named the YSRCP President for Anakapalli district, while K. K. Raju has been appointed as the YSRCP President for Visakhapatnam district. These appointments were confirmed through an official press release from the party headquarters.
