At the same time, he came close to the Telugu Desam Party and participated in the campaign of the Telugu Desam Party. Later he tried to stay away from YSR Congress party.

After the YSR Congress party came to power, it took another step forward and held meetings under the name of Uttarandhra development platform and turned it into a platform to question the injustice being done to Uttarandhra under the government of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. They tried to criticize the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government, policies and decisions of the government by taking all the political parties as non-political. At the same time, there are no instances of him being close to the Telugu Desam Party in recent times. Due to this, many doubts about his political career have also arisen among his fans.

 However, in the current political assimilation, his fans have been expressing the opinion that it would be better if he joins the Janasena if possible, staying at an equal distance from the YSR Congress Party and the Telugu Desam Party. At the same time, Janasena is also positive as it needs a leader of Gawara social group which is important in that area. If Konatala shows interest, Janasena is also ready to give responsibility of that district. It is reported that Konatala is also thinking in that direction.

Recently, YSR Congress Party Visakha District President Panchakarla Ramesh resigned from YSR Congress Party and joined Jan Sena, which is focusing on Anakapalli, Jan Sena is also expected to talk to the constituencies. As Konatala is also positive about it, the campaign that he will soon join the Janasena is currently going strong in Visakhapatnam Anakapalli district.

 Although there is no official announcement from both the groups, Konatala is also thinking of giving tickets to his followers who come with him in some places. As it is an election year, anything is possible in politics. Therefore, the speculation of Konatala joining the Jana Sena may also be true, political circles are also analyzing.
