Vikramarka criticized past Congress governments for neglecting key aspects of Hyderabad’s development, including sanitation, sewerage, and pollution control. He claimed that significant funds accrued from land sales were not utilized for the city's improvement.

A comprehensive ₹24,042 crore plan has been proposed for five new Metro corridors, extending the network by 78.4 km. This expansion will link the Metro to the Old City and the airport, with new interchange stations at Nagole, LB Nagar, and Chandrayangutta. Additionally, satellite townships around Hyderabad will be promoted to alleviate traffic congestion and offer affordable housing options.
