APJ Abdul Kalam, who served as the President of India, is not just renowned in the country but is globally acclaimed. His name is synonymous with excellence. Born in Kurnool, a city where he garnered tremendous respect, even the prestigious higher secondary school in his name stands as a testament to his stature. The A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Municipal Corporation High School in Kurnool city has gained significant prestige. Even in the academic year 2022-23, it achieved the highest pass percentage in the public examinations for the tenth grade under the Municipal Administration Department. Recognized as the best high school by the state government, it achieved unparalleled success. On the occasion of Independence Day celebrations held in Amaravati on the 15th of this month, special certificates will be awarded. Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan has personally recognized the school's headmaster, Vijayalakshmi, with certificates.
If chosen, this school has been selected as the best high school in Andhra Pradesh twice. This time also, it secured state-level ranks in the tenth-grade examinations, making Municipal High School proud. Achieving state-level ranks for a Municipal High School happens only here. In the past year's results, Susree scored 586 marks, Gautam Sai, Sofiyan scored 580 marks, achieving state-level ranks.
