కనుమలోపల్లి వద్ద రైల్వే ట్రాక్ వద్ద ఉన్నట్లు గుర్తించారు. హడావుడిగా ఆ ప్రదేశానికి వెళ్లాడు. రైలు పట్టాలపై పడి చనిపోవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్న రమేష్‌ను పక్కకు లాగి ప్రాణాలను కాపాడారు. కొన్ని క్షణాలు ఆలస్యం రమేష్ ప్రాణం గాలిలో కలిసిపోయేది. సిద్దవటం పోలీసులు సత్వరమే స్పందించి విధుల పట్ల నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించకుండా ఉండడంతో రమేష్ ప్రాణాలను కాపాడగలిగారు. సకాలంలో స్పందించి రమేష్‌ను కాపాడిన ఎస్‌ఐని జిల్లా ఎస్పీ అన్బురాజన్ అభినందించారు.
