South Central Railway has made major changes in the Kadapa-Visakha-Kadapa (Tirumala Express (17487/17488)) traffic in view of the development work going on at Tirupati Railway Junction.

 So far this express used to come from Visakhapatnam via Renigunta to Tirupati and then reach Kadapa. But the schedule of this train will be changed for a month from now. Tirumala Express services to Tirupati and Kadapa stations will be partially closed for one month i.e. from July 11 to August 10.

Tirumala Express services run from Kadapa to Visakhapatnam via Renigunta. However, the officials of the railway department have clarified that this train Kadapa-Visakhapatnam (17487) and Visakhapatnam-Kadapa (17488) will travel between Vizag to Renigunta.. and return to Visakhapatnam from there. Due to this, the devotees who come and go to Tirupati have to face many problems.
