In Rayapudi Pedalanka village, over 300 cattle have reportedly been lost to the floodwaters. Minister Atchenaidu has instructed officials to ensure the safety of both people and livestock in affected areas, while District Collector Naga Lakshmi is closely monitoring the situation.
Residents of Uddandarayaunipalem have been moved to relief camps, and helicopters have been deployed to rescue and relocate over 40 individuals who were stranded in Pedalanka village.
The district administration is utilizing drones to monitor the situation and has increased security around rivulets to prevent unauthorized crossings. Local villagers are collaborating with officials to carry out repairs on water embankments in Bapatla district.
