In the name of love, a young woman committed suicide by drinking insecticide because she could not stop the harassment. She died in Nims Hospital, Hyderabad on Monday (March 20) while undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to the police, Mbadi Rajalingam and Rajamani of New Mamidipalli village of Dandepalli mandal of Manchiryala district have a son and a daughter. Nalimela Vinay Kumar of the same village has been repeatedly harassing her daughter Saishma for marrying her in the name of love.
But Saishma told her several times not to harass her as she was already engaged to another person. However, Vinay, who did not change his ways, threatened on 18th March that he would see to her even if he did not love her or marry her. Unable to bear Vinay's harassment in this process, Saishma became depressed and committed suicide by drinking insecticide at 4 pm on the same day.
Immediately the family members rushed Saishma to Karimnagar hospital for treatment. From there he was shifted to Nims, Hyderabad for better treatment. Nims died on Monday morning while undergoing treatment. They complained to the police that their daughter died due to Vinay Kumar's harassment and that he should be punished severely. The police registered a case based on the complaint of the deceased and started an investigation.

ప్రేమ పేరుతో ఓ ఆకతాయి వేధింపులు తాళలేక యువతి పురుగుల మందుతాగి ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడింది. ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ సోమవారం (మార్చి 20) హైదరాబాద్ నిమ్స్ ఆసుపత్రిలో మృతి చెందింది. పోలీసులు తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. మంచిర్యాల జిల్లా దండేపల్లి మండలం కొత్త మామిడిపల్లి గ్రామానికి చెందిన ఎంబడి రాజలింగం, రాజమణి దంపతులకు ఓ కుమారుడు, ఓ కుమార్తె సంతానం. కుమార్తె సాయిష్మాను అదే గ్రామానికి చెందిన నలిమేల వినయ్ కుమార్ ప్రేమ పేరుతో పెళ్లి చేసుకోవాలని గత కొంతకాలంగా పదేపదే వేధింపులకు గురి చేయసాగాడు.
ఐతే తనకు అప్పటికే వేరొక వ్యక్తితో ఎంగేజ్మెంట్ అయిందని తనను వేధించవద్దని సాయిష్మా పలుమార్లు చెప్పింది. అయినా తన పద్ధతి మార్చుకోని వినయ్ తనను ప్రేమించకపోయినా.. పెళ్లి చేసుకోకపోయినా తన సంగతి చూస్తానంటూ మార్చి 18వ తేదీ బెదిరించాడు. ఈ క్రమంలో వినయ్ వేధింపులు తట్టుకోలేక మనస్థాపానికి గురై సాయిష్మా అదే రోజు సాయంత్రం 4 గంటలకు పురుగుల మందు తాగి ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడింది.
వెంటనే కుటుంబ సభ్యులు సాయిష్మాను చికిత్స నిమిత్తం కరీంనగర్ ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. మెరుగైన వైద్యం కోసం అక్కడి నుంచి హైదరాబాద్ నిమ్స్‌కు తరలించారు. నిమ్స్ చికిత్స పొందుతూ సోమవారం ఉదయం మృతి చెందింది. వినయ్ కుమార్ వేధింపుల వల్లే తమ కూతురు చనిపోయిందని, అతన్ని కఠినంగా శిక్షించాలని పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. మృతురాలి ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు కేసు నమోదు చేసుకున్న పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు.
