The Telangana High Court has granted relief to Telugu anchor Shyamala by directing the police not to arrest her. However, the court has allowed the police to continue their investigation and has instructed Shyamala to cooperate with the inquiry. The court specifically mentioned that Shyamala should appear before the police for questioning starting Monday.

Anchor Shyamala is facing charges filed by the Punjagutta police in relation to promoting betting apps. In this case, around 11 individuals have been named, all of whom are being summoned by the police for questioning. Shyamala had not attended the investigation, prompting her to approach the High Court.

She filed a petition seeking the dismissal of the case registered against her concerning the betting apps. After hearing the petition, the court issued the relevant directives.
