Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao Congratulates Gongadi Trisha, Announces ₹1 Crore Reward
Young cricketer Gongadi Trisha, who has made Telangana proud with her exceptional performance in the Under-19 Women’s World Cup, was specially congratulated by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. The CM met Trisha at his residence and praised her for bringing honor to the state and the country.
A Generous ₹1 Crore Reward
At the event held at the CM's camp office in Jubilee Hills, CM KCR praised Trisha’s talent and announced a ₹1 crore reward for her. He expressed his pride in her achievements, stating, "Your talent makes Telangana proud. I hope you help the Indian team win even more in the future." The CM also assured that the Telangana government will continue to support the growth of women cricketers at the international level.
Druthi Kesari Also Honored with ₹10 Lakh Reward
Another notable cricketer from Telangana, Druthi Kesari, who was part of the Under-19 Women’s World Cup team, was also congratulated by the CM. He recognized her talent and announced a ₹10 lakh cash reward for her achievements.
Support for Coaches and Trainers
The CM also emphasized the importance of recognizing not just the players but also the coaches and trainers who guide them. As part of this, Nooshin, the head coach of the Under-19 Women’s Cricket team, and Shalini, the trainer, were both announced to receive a ₹10 lakh reward each.

The CM reaffirmed that the Telangana government will always be a strong supporter of women athletes. He stated, "The government will continue to work towards the development of women’s cricket, providing top-notch training and incentives for players.
