Gold: The price of gold has reached a new record

Gold Prices Reach ₹88,500
Rupee Depreciation and Global Factors Drive Increase
Silver Crosses ₹97,000

Gold prices continue to rise daily. In Delhi, the price of 10 grams of gold reached ₹88,500 today, marking a new record. Last week, the price of 99.9% pure gold stood at ₹86,070 per 10 grams, but today it surged by ₹2,430, hitting an all-time high.

The All India Sarafa Association attributed the rise in gold prices to the depreciation of the rupee against the dollar and global market trends. In the international market, spot gold per ounce has reached $2,900. Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a significant increase, rising by ₹1,000 per kilogram to ₹97,500.

Statements by former US President Donald Trump on tariffs are impacting global stock markets, leading to a downturn in stock indices. As a result, investors are shifting towards safer investments, boosting the demand for gold.
