Attack on Chilkur Balaji Temple Chief Priest Rangarajan

CS Rangarajan, the chief priest of the renowned Chilkur Balaji Temple in Hyderabad, was attacked. While Rangarajan was at home, a group of individuals forcefully entered his house and demanded that he support the establishment of Ramarajya (a rule based on Lord Rama's principles). When he refused, the attackers assaulted him. During the incident, Rangarajan’s son, who tried to protect his father, was also injured.

Following the attack, Rangarajan and the Chilkur Temple Managing Committee Chairman filed a complaint with the police, urging legal action against the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, several Hindu organizations have strongly condemned the attack on Rangarajan and demanded strict action against those responsible.
