Vetrimaaran's acclaimed film Viduthalai Part 1, starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, made waves over a year ago. The sequel, Viduthalai Part 2, has generated buzz with the release of two distinctive first look posters. One poster features a fierce portrayal of Vijay Sethupathi, suggesting a pivotal role for his character in the sequel. The second poster depicts Vijay Sethupathi alongside Manju Warrier in a more uplifting setting, hinting at their respective roles in the narrative. These posters indicate a stronger focus on Vijay Sethupathi's character compared to Soori's.
In addition to Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, and Manju Warrier, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Bhavani Sre, Anurag Kashyap, Gautam Vasudev Menon, and Rajiv Menon. Jointly produced by RS Infotainment and Grassroot Film Company, and presented by Red Giant Movies, the eagerly anticipated film is nearing completion with music composed by the maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Geetha Arts is handling the Telugu release of the movie.
