Gold prices hit new high due to global tensions

Gold prices are rising sharply in Hyderabad and Vijayawada. Due to trade tensions between the USA and China, and global financial uncertainties, gold reached ₹96,000 in the bullion market. Consumers are concerned about the continuous increase in gold and silver rates.

Slight decrease in gold and silver prices

As of 6 AM on April 16, 2025 (Wednesday), gold and silver prices saw a slight drop:

• 22K Gold (10 grams): ₹87,190

• 24K Gold (10 grams): ₹95,170

• Silver (1 kg): ₹99,700
  Prices fell by ₹10 for gold (per 10g) and ₹100 for silver (per kg), giving some relief to buyers.
