The Telangana High Court has issued important directions regarding children under the age of 16 visiting movie theaters. The court stated that children under 16 should not be allowed to enter theaters between 11 PM and 11 AM. This decision will be finalized after consulting with all relevant parties involved.

The court heard petitions on issues such as increasing movie ticket prices and allowing special shows. The petitioner’s advocate argued that allowing children to attend late-night shows could harm their health.

Justice B. Vijayasen Reddy's bench agreed with these concerns and gave interim directions prohibiting children under 16 from attending theaters during the late-night hours. The matter is set for further hearing on February 22.
