A study conducted by the ICMR and NIV Pune revealed that the Zika virus found in many Indian states including Telangana. Zika is caused by mosquitoes bite and the symptoms include headache, fever, rashes and joint and muscle pain.
It is learnt that 66 Zika cases reported in Kerala last year. According to the recent study, the spread of the Zika virus found in many states and stated to stregthen its surveillance. Study revealed that the Zika virus found in Jharkhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Telangana, Punjab, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
