మంకీపాక్స్ వ్యాప్తి చెందకుండా ఉండటానికి కేరళ ప్రభుత్వం అప్రమత్తంగా ఉంది. ఐదు జిల్లాలకు ప్రత్యేక హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసింది. దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రం కేరళలో మంకీపాక్స్ కేసు నమోదైన రెండు రోజుల వ్యవధిలోనే కేరళలో మరో మంకీపాక్స్ కేసు నమోదుకావటం కలకలం రేపుతోంది. షార్జా-తిరువనంతపురం ఇండిగో విమానంలో వచ్చిన వ్యక్తికి మంకీపాక్స్ పాజిటివ్గా నిర్ధారణ అయింది. వైరస్ సోకిన వ్యక్తితో కలిసి తిరువనంతపురం, కొల్లాం, పతనంతిట్ట, అలప్పుజా, కొట్టాయంకు చెందిన ప్రయాణికులు రావటంతో ఆ ఐదు జిల్లాలకు ప్రత్యేక హెచ్చరిక జారీ చేసినట్లు రాష్ట్ర ఆరోగ్య మంత్రి వీణా జార్జ్ తెలిపారు.
