పసుపు ధర అమాంతం పడిపోయింది. గతేడాదితో పొల్చితే ఏకంగా సగానికి రేటు పడిపోవడం రైతన్నలను తీవ్రంగా కలిచివేస్తోంది. గతేడాది ఈ సమయానికి 8,500 పలికిన క్వింటా ధర.. ప్రస్తుతం కేవలం రూ.4000-రూ.4200 పలుకుతోంది. మూలిగే నక్కపై తాటిపండు పడ్డట్టు.. ఈ యేడాది భారీ వర్షాల వల్ల పంట దిగుబడి తగ్గిపోయిందని దిగులు చెందుతున్న రైతులకు.. మార్కెట్‌ ధర తీవ్ర కలచి వేస్తోంది. ప్రస్తుతం నిజామాబాద్‌ మార్కెట్‌లో క్వింటాకు కేవలం రూ.5910 మాత్రమే పలకడం గమనార్హం. ఒక పసుపు డ్రమ్ము ఉడికించే వరకు రైతుకు అన్నీ ఖర్చులు కలుపుకుని రూ.3,700 అవుతుంటే.. మార్కెట్‌లో ప్రస్తుతం రూ.2,500 వరకు మాత్రమే వస్తోందని వాపోతున్నారు పసుపు రైతులు. డ్రమ్ముకు 12వందల రూపాయల వరకు నష్టపోతున్నామని, ఇకపై మెల్లిమెల్లిగా సాగు తగ్గిస్తామని అంటున్నారీ రైతులు. నిజామాబాద్‌ జిల్లాలో ఈ యేడాది 30 వేల ఎకరాల్లో పసుపు పంట సాగయ్యింది. సాధారణంగా 35 వేల ఎకరాల వరకు పంట సాగవ్వాల్సి ఉండగా.. గత మూడు, నాలుగు సంవత్సరాలుగా సాగు విస్తీర్ణం తగ్గుతూ వస్తోంది. అయితే ఈ యేడాది అధిక వర్షాలు రైతును నిండా ముంచాయి. అధిక వర్షాల వల్ల పంటలోకి నీరు చేరి దుంప తెగుళ్లు సోకాయి.
ఈ ప్రభావం దిగుబడిపై కూడా పడింది. ఏదో విధంగా పంటను కాపాడుకుని తీరా మార్కెట్‌కు పంట తీసుకొస్తే.. ఇక్కడ ధరలు అమాంతం పడిపోయాయని వాపోతున్నారు రైతులు. ఇలా అయితే పంట ఎలా పండిచాలని ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నారు. అయితే పసుపు రైతులకు పంట గిట్టుబాటు కావాలంటే పసుపు బోర్డు ఒక్కటే మార్గం అని తెలంగాణాలో, ముఖ్యంగా నిజామాబాద్‌లో ఎప్పటి నుంచో ఉద్యమాలు నడుస్తున్నాయి. కానీ పసుపు బోర్డు మాత్రం రాలేదు
