The Telangana Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET 2022) engineering stream will be held as usual from the 18th of this month, the Board of Higher Education announced on Saturday (July 16). On this occasion, the officials informed that 89 examination centers have been set up in Telangana and 19 in Andhra Pradesh, about 1,72,241 students will appear for the MSET examinations this year and all the arrangements for conducting the examinations have already been completed. Exams will be conducted online in two sessions per day on the respective dates. First session exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and evening session exam from 3 pm to 6 pm. 29 thousand students attend each session. It is known that the weightage of inter marks has been canceled in MSET this year. As per the old rules, General students must have passed with 45% marks in Inter and others with 40% marks. Moreover, this time there will not be 25% weightage for intermediate marks. It means that the rank will be assigned only on the marks obtained in the MSET. It has been decided to prepare the questions in the exam with 70 percent of the syllabus. The question paper will have 160 multiple choice questions of 160 marks each. Each wrong answer will carry negative marking.

తెలంగాణ ఇంజనీరింగ్ అండ్‌ మెడికల్ కామన్‌ ఎంట్రన్స్‌ టెస్ట్‌ (TS EAMCET 2022) ఇంజనీరింగ్ స్ట్రీమ్‌ ఈ నెల 18వ తేదీ నుంచి యథాతథంగా జరగనున్నట్లు ఉన్నత విద్యా మండలి శనివారం (జులై 16) వెల్లడించింది. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా కురిసిన భారీ వర్షాల కారణంగా 14, 15వ తేదీల్లో జరగవల్సిన ఎంసెట్‌ అగ్రికల్చర్, మెడికల్ పరీక్షలను వాయిదా వేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. వాయిదా పడ్డ పరీక్షలకు కొత్త తేదీలను త్వరలోనే ప్రకటిస్తామని అధికారులు ఇప్పటికే తెలిపాయజేశారు. కాగా ఇక రేపటి నుంచి జరగవల్సిన ఇంజనీరింగ్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ పరీక్షలు యథాతథంగా జూలై 18, 19, 20 తేదీల్లో రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా జరగనున్నాయి. తెలంగాణలో 89, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో19 పరీక్ష కేంద్రాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశామని, దాదాపు 1,72,241ల మంది విద్యార్ధులు ఈ ఏడాది ఎంసెట్‌ పరీక్షలకు హాజరుకానున్నారని, పరీక్షల నిర్వహణకు సంబంధించి ఇప్పటికే అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లు పూర్తి చేసినట్లు ఈ సందర్భంగా అధికారులు తెలియజేశారు. ఆయా తేదీల్లో రోజుకు రెండు సెషన్ల చొప్పున ఆన్‌లైన్‌ విధానంలో పరీక్షలు జరుగుతాయి. మొదటి సెషన్‌ పరీక్ష ఉదయం 9 గంటల నుంచి 12 గంటల వరకు, సాయంత్రం సెషన్‌ పరీక్ష 3 గంటల నుంచి 6 గంటల వరకు నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఒక్కో సెషన్‌కు 29 వేల మంది విద్యార్ధులకు హాజరవుతారు. విద్యార్ధులకు జారీ చేసిన హాల్‌ టికెట్లలో అన్ని సూచనలు జారీ చేశామని, వాటిని తప్పక అనుసరించాలని
కాగా ఈ ఏడాది ఎంసెట్‌లో ఇంటర్‌ మార్కుల వెయిటేజీని రద్దు చేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. పాత నిబంధనల ప్రకారం జనరల్‌ విద్యార్ధులు ఇంటర్‌లో 45 శాతం, మిగిలిన వారు 40 శాతం మార్కులతో ఉత్తీర్ణత పొందటం తప్పనిసరిగా ఉంది. అంతేకాకుండా ఈ సారి ఇంటర్‌ మార్కులకు 25 శాతం వెయిటేజీ (25% weightage) కూడా ఉండదు. అంటే ఎంసెట్‌లో వచ్చిన మార్కులతోనే ర్యాంక్‌ కేటాయిస్తారన్నమాట. 70 శాతం సిలబస్‌తోనే ఎంసెట్‌లో ప్రశ్నలను రూపొందిచాలని నిర్ణయించారు. 160 మల్టిపుల్‌ ఛాయిస్‌ ప్రశ్నలకు 160 మార్కుల చొప్పున పశ్నాపత్రం ఉంటుంది. ప్రతి తప్పు సమాధానానికి నెగెటివ్‌ మార్కింగ్‌ ఉంటుంది.
