VIJAYAWADA: On Wednesday, the Andhra Pradesh High Court issued notices to the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary (Home), instructing them to provide a detailed counter regarding the media conference on the AP State Skill Development Corporation scam case.
Additionally, the court directed former Additional Advocate General Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy and former CID chief N. Sanjay to submit a detailed counter. The case has been adjourned to September 25.
The public interest litigation, filed in 2023 by S. Satyanarayana, president of the AP United Forum for RTI Campaign, seeks a court order to restrain Reddy and Sanjay from disclosing any details related to the skill development scam or other cases.
The court had previously requested a translated copy of the media conference, which was held in Telugu. The translated document has been submitted to the court.
During Wednesday's hearing, the court reiterated its instructions for all concerned parties to file a detailed counter.
