PM Modi Returns Early, Holds Meeting After J&K Terror Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned early from Saudi Arabia after a deadly terror attack happened in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. He held a high-level meeting at Palam airport in New Delhi to review the situation.

The attack took place in the Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam and killed 16 people, including tourists and an intelligence officer. The Resistance Front, a Pakistan-based terror group, claimed responsibility. Eyewitnesses said terrorists came from the forest and opened fire suddenly.

Due to the attack, security has been tightened across Jammu and Kashmir. Extra forces were sent to sensitive areas, and many roads were blocked with barbed wires. A complete bandh was observed in Udhampur as people demanded justice for the victims.
