In a tragic incident at a school in Singapore, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s younger son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, was injured. Mark, who is just seven and a half years old, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore.

The fire broke out in a building on River Valley Road, affecting multiple floors, including the Tomato Cooking School where Mark was studying. Due to the smoke, he experienced breathing difficulties and also sustained injuries to his arms and legs. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Upon learning of the accident, Pawan Kalyan—who was on an official tour in Alluri district—chose to complete a scheduled interaction with tribal communities before heading to Singapore. He left Hyderabad around 11:30 PM, accompanied by Megastar Chiranjeevi.

A total of 19 people were injured in the incident, 15 of whom are children. The Singapore Civil Defence Force evacuated around 80 people from the affected and nearby buildings. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire in a city known for its high safety standards.

Pawan Kalyan’s wife, Anna Lezhneva, is currently staying in Singapore and taking care of Mark. Reassuring the public, Pawan Kalyan stated that with everyone’s blessings, Mark is recovering well. Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally called Pawan and also alerted the Indian High Commission in Singapore to provide all necessary assistance.

Leaders across political parties, including Chandrababu Naidu, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Revanth Reddy, K.T. Rama Rao, and film celebrities, have extended their prayers for Mark’s speedy recovery. Jana Sena supporters have even conducted special prayers in temples.

Pawan Kalyan released a note thanking everyone for their support and stated that Mark is on the path to recovery, though it may take a few more days for full healing.
