Posani Krishna Murali’s Release Delayed by Guntur CID
Prominent actor and screenwriter Posani Krishna Murali’s anticipated release was halted after the Guntur CID police issued a prisoner transit (PT) warrant against him. Despite securing bail from two courts, this legal action has postponed his release indefinitely.
Arrest Over Controversial Comments
Posani Krishna Murali was arrested for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan. While the Kurnool court granted him bail with a bond of ₹20,000 and two sureties, and the Narasaraopet district court approved his bail earlier, his release remains on hold due to the latest PT warrant.
Virtual Court Appearance Ordered
Following legal protocols, Guntur CID officials arrived at Kurnool District Jail where Posani is currently held. Instead of being released, Posani Krishna Murali will now be presented virtually before a judge, further delaying his release without a clear timeline for resolution.
