Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that the freedom fighters aspired for a society where one nation could not exploit another nation.. one man.. another man.. one race by another race. CM Jagan addressed the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Alluri Sitaramaraj in Bhimavaram. He said on this occasion. He said that lakhs of people sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. We fought against foreign rulers for 190 years in our national movement. Many particles of fire were born from the soil here. Alluri is a great particle of fire.. CM Jagan said that it is a matter of pride that Llluri Sitaramaraj was born on Telugu soil. He said that our country has taken steps forward by fighting against foreign rule.
He said it was a pleasure to celebrate Alluri Jayanthi. He clarified that Alluri is a great inspiration for the Telugu nation and India. It was revealed that the district was formed in his name to remember his greatness. CM Jagan said that the sacrifice made by Alluri Sitaramaraj will remain forever in the hearts of every human being.

ఒక్క దేశంను మరో దేశం.. ఒక మనిషిని.. ఇంకొక మనిషి.. ఒక జాతిని మరొక జాతి.. దోపిడీ చేయడానికి వీల్లేని సమాజాన్ని స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధులు ఆకాంక్షించారని ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి అన్నారు. భీమవరంలో అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు 125వ జయంతి వేడుకల్లో సీఎం జగన్ ప్రసంగించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ. దేశ స్వాతంత్ర్యం కోసం లక్షలాది మంది ప్రాణాలు అర్పించారన్నారు. మన జాతీయ ఉద్యమంలో 190 ఏళ్లు పరాయి పాలకులపై యుద్ధం చేశాం. ఇక్కడి మట్టి నుంచి అనేక అగ్ని కణాలు పుట్టుకొచ్చాయి. అల్లూరి ఒక మహా అగ్ని కణం.. ఆయన తెలుగు గడ్డపై ల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు పుట్టడం గర్వకారణమని సీఎం జగన్ అన్నారు. పరాయి పాలనపై మన దేశం యుద్ధం చేస్తూ అడుగులు ముందుకేసిందన్నారు.
అల్లూరి జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని వేడుకలు చేసుకోవడం సంతోషకరంగా ఉందన్నారు. తెలుగుజాతి, భారతదేశానికి గొప్ప స్ఫూర్తి ప్రదాత అల్లూరి అని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఆయన ఘనతను గుర్తుంచుకునే ఆయన పేరుపై జిల్లా ఏర్పాటు చేశారని వెల్లడించారు. అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు చేసిన త్యాగం ప్రతి మనిషి గుండెల్లో చిరకాలం నిలిచిపోతుందన్నారు సిఎం జగన్.
