The previous administration of the YSR Congress pursued an irrational and damaging approach that significantly harmed Amaravati's reputation and image. However, with the advent of the new TDP+ government, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu, the focus has shifted towards revitalizing Amaravati's development.
During his recent visit to Delhi where he met with Prime Minister Modi, CM Chandrababu wasted no time in initiating efforts for Amaravati. He reportedly urged Modi to expedite the return of central government offices to Amaravati as a top priority. Modi responded positively to Naidu's appeal, ensuring swift action.
Remarkably, within less than 24 hours of Naidu's trip, 45 central offices that had previously been allocated land in Amaravati have begun the process of returning to the capital region. Originally intended to relocate before 2019, these offices were deterred by the destructive policies of the YCP government.
Naidu has now embarked on the task of rebuilding Amaravati, resulting in these offices notifying the Amaravati CRDA (Capital Region Development Authority) about their intention to return. The CRDA is expected to commence the necessary procedures, including clearing jungle areas, to accommodate these offices on the lands designated for them.
This swift turnaround reflects Naidu's proactive approach to rejuvenating Amaravati and restoring its promise as a thriving capital region.
